ETI™ and Organizational Culture Analysis
PROPRIETARY METHODOLOGIES
SHIKAR GROUP has developed and honed an integrated approach that will enable you to reconcile the crucial variables of a search process or an assessment procedure. To find the right match our unique approach combines two proprietary methodologies addressing these challenges:
1 | The ETI™ Executive Talent Index
The ETI™ is best described as a common language of success that allows everyone involved in the search process to discuss a candidate’s competencies using the same vocabulary. The system, developed on the basis of our experience with monitoring the integration of executives, is designed to give valuable insights into the candidate’s behavioral characteristics and ensure that each and every candidate, whether internal or external, is judged in absolutely the same way. The ETI™ consists of over 30 competencies. For each individual competency the major behavioral indicators are identified and scaled. The scales are arranged to reflect the intensity, completeness or complexity of expression of each one. In competency-based interviews we evaluate the fit between the requirements of the position and the candidate’s abilities. This systematic methodology, combined with our corporate culture analysis, enables us to obtain an accurate picture of the candidate’s profile as the basis for effective selection, career and succession planning, and development. It also enables the candidate’s future performance to be predicted more reliably.
2 | Organizational Culture Analysis
Our analysis, which is based on the work of Robert E. Quinn and Kim S. Cameron, identifies the candidate’s preferred organizational culture and compares it with that of the client. Organizational culture means the way the client operates and behaves, both as an organization and individually, towards its stakeholders, as a market participant and an employer, and as an institution with a role in business and society. These things are often elusive, but by helping the client talk about them clearly and openly we can enable them to identify the key characteristics of their organizational culture, and the cultural environment in which the candidate will perform best.
